Who is More Patriotic
May 6, 2010 caption contest, government, news, photo, politics, school, uncategorized
Unless you are some kind of liberal fag, you probably came across this news story today:
American Patriots Daniel Galli, Austin Carvalho, Matt Dariano, Dominic Maciel and Clayton Howard were sent home from school on Cinco de Mayo for wearing American flag shirts and bandannas. The students were told “they must turn their T-shirts inside-out or be sent home.”
If you have a problem with this please feel free to call the school at (408) 201-6100, or email Principal Nick Boden at Nick.Boden@mhu.k12.ca.us
And while your heart is being filled with anti-Mexican rage, and likely still hung over from Drinko de Mayo; it is time to answer the most important question this story raises:

Super Bowl Commercials
Feb 8, 2010 advertisment, caption contest, celebrities, crime, government, idiots, internet, news, pittsburgh, politics, pop culture, sports, tv, video
Trying to come up with a title for this post was hard, seeing that every internet media blog has taken some variation of “Monday Morning Fill-in-a-term” even though they have no idea what sport reference this is making. ANYWAYS, as a whole I was upset with how unfunny the commercials happened to be this year. And if I see one more Denny’s commercial I will kill someone. You can find all the commercials on YouTube, but to save you time, this is all you need to know:
Best unintentional-intentional comedy that has no business trying to be funny:
Best showing of why Americans think Pittsburgh sucks:
Only commercial that got me to LOL, thanks Lamar:
Commercial that would have been funny if it wasn’t leaked before it aired [FYI - all the Doritos commercials sucked, and when someone at work reminded me that they were submitted to the company by ordinary people it makes me wonder why a they would waste $2.5 million on a spot]:
Most original idea that came from last year’s #1 summer comedy movie:
Best use of taking a popular TV show concept from a non-CBS station:
Worst use of tax money:
Bud Light was the, per usual, best brander this year, they also had the best rap artist joke from 2008:
Finally, the commercial you should watch about 100 times comes from Audi. It gets my M. Night Shyamalan award. To start, I thought it was a take on what America would be about if Al Gore was Prez. Also, for the first 40 seconds it will have you thinking it is a joke on white-collar crime, not to be confused with White-Collar Crime. During this time you may also think it is a joke about white people actually being capable of committing crime. Finally you will see it is about being a hippie:
… I also like this commercial because I play a small part in the financing of it

Mom Finds YouTube
Jan 21, 2010 internet, old people, politics, tv, video
Back in the fall of 2007 my mom discovered YouTube, sending me videos of “Fat Guy from Boston.” Almost a year later, fall 2008, she discovered it again sending me the South Park, Randy Marsh Naggers video (which premiered on March 7, 2007).
On Sunday I sent her this video:
I think I might have made her discover YouTube again, today she sent me this:
In other ‘Mom using Internet’ news, I emailed her a link to the breakdown of town by town voting in the MA Senate race Tuesday night, after the fact Martha Coakley conceded to Scott Brown. The next morning she responded to let me know that Brown won.

Obama’s December Rankings Approach Worst Ever
Dec 12, 2009 government, news, politics, science
(at least since the’ve polled).
Gallup today showed Obama’s Job Approval has fallen from near 70% to 50% in the ten months since his inauguration. At that rate, he’ll be at -16% come next election, fuck thats terrible!
They also show that the decrease wasn’t just the Republicans who realized they were idiots in November – almost 1 in 10 Democrats polled no longer expressed approval for Czar (or is it Tsar, Tzar, …) Obama. The fraction was significantly higher on the other side of the isle, however, almost 2 out of 3 Republicans polled no longer expressed approval. Whether this has anything to do with the recent exposure of many “scientists” (including the scum-bag charlatan soon-to-be-former Penn State Professor Michael Mann) colluding to falsify and hide data [Link 2] and manipulate what has turned out to be the basis of all climate change research and policy, is yet unknown.
Lastly, Gallup also shows how previous Presidents have done at the same time in their term. You know, one would think Obama’s would be higher, having just won the Nobel Peace Prize and all, I mean, he had to have done something to get that thing, right?

@BarackObama
Nov 16, 2009 caption contest, government, idiots, internet, old people, photo, politics
So remember how Obama connected with young voters by being up on technology, well he just said he was lying about it.
While in China, Obama said that his never used his twitter account (which has 2.6 million followers). Speaking to Shanghai students, one asked him “Should we be able to use Twitter freely?” Obama’s response was “Well, first of all, let me say that I have never used Twitter. My thumbs are too clumsy to type in things on the phone.”
Not sure if the students got the hint to make better phones.
What is strange is how everyone made such a big deal about Obama and his love of the BlackBerry. Reports even went out about how he would have to move to the NSA secure Sectera Edge smartphone, coming in with a price tag of $3,350.
What else was Obama doing in Asia land, bowing to midgets:

Even The G20 Protesters Understand Pittsburgh
Sep 25, 2009 celebrities, pittsburgh, politics, sports
So for years now I have seen lame protesters just shouting and lying down in traffic and stuff, but I knew that the protesters that would come to the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh would have to do something different if they wanted media coverage. Some of them decided to cater to the only thing that people in this city care about, football. Even though they look pretty queer in their technique, (I’m guessing they were of the emo mold in high school) it was still a pretty good idea.

I have been somewhat following this story the past few days, but today was the first time I saw a video. This was entertaining:
My main takeaway from all of this is chirp, chirp Hannah Giles. At 20 years old you have decided to dress up and pretend to be a prostitute while some James guy (full name James O’Keefe to avoid any confusion) goes around videotaping you. And to you James, I may be throwing hate, but that pimp outfit is weak. Props on your style though, showing Hannah walk down the street in a short shirt really adds to the investigative journalism.
Hannah, I like how you are trying to take down this corrupt organization. But I like more how you are whoring yourself around the country.
I can’t help but wonder what the audition process was like for Hannah at biggovernment.com? Along those lines, I can only imagine the number of laughs that were shared when girls of the night were mistaken by what James was looking for; and tears cried by girls who wanted to help but ended up in those other “casting” features.
Sorry if this is the not red eye video you were hoping for.

Who is Obama
Sep 8, 2009 celebrities, government, photo, politics, pop culture, video
Something has always seemed different about Obama, and after listening to his speech to the students of America today, I think I found the link.
The clues started when I heard some of the lines of the speech today:
–But whenever I’d complain, my mother would just give me one of those looks and say, “This is no picnic for me either, buster.”
–I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.
–Maybe you could be an innovator or an inventor – maybe even good enough to come up with the next iPhone or a new medicine or vaccine – but you might not know it until you do a project for your science class.
–I hope you’ll all wash your hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feel well, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall and winter.
–I know that sometimes, you get the sense from TV that you can be rich and successful without any hard work — that your ticket to success is through rapping or basketball or being a reality TV star, when chances are, you’re not going to be any of those things.
–If you get in trouble, that doesn’t mean you’re a troublemaker, it means you need to try harder to behave. If you get a bad grade, that doesn’t mean you’re stupid, it just means you need to spend more time studying.
–It’s about people who kept going, who tried harder, who loved their country too much to do anything less than their best… Students who sat where you sit 20 years ago who founded Google, Twitter and Facebook and changed the way we communicate with each other.
–So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it.
Then I thought:
Clue – Dave Chappelle is black
Clue – Dave Chappelle plays white characters
Clue – Barack Obama is part black
Clue – Barack Obama plays a white President
Then something in my head clicked:
